AFF Volunteer Opportunities

Adult Faith Formation Commission
The AFFC is dedicated to developing, implementing, and sustaining an ongoing adult faith formation program open to parishioners and beyond.

Pre-Cana
A team of married couples of the parish provide a marriage preparation program for engaged couples. The team presents reflections on the joys and challenges of married life and love.

Pro-Life
The Pro-Life Committee of Ss. Peter and Paul works to inform and promote the principle that human life, at all stages from conception to natural death, is a gift from God, worthy of respect and protection. The committee works with local, and diocesan groups to ensure the latest updates and upcoming events, facts, and statistics are available to the parish.

RCIA/RCIC
Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults

Are you an adult who has not yet been baptized? Do you have a child over age 7 who has not been baptized? Have you been baptized in another Church tradition and interested in learning more about becoming Catholic?

If you can answer ‘yes’ to any of these questions, and you feel even a small tug in your heart as you reflect on these questions, you may want to enter into a conversation to learn more. This conversation does not require any commitment on your part, it simply offers an opportunity to learn more. Call Joyce Springer at the parish office (618-939-6426, ext. 22) to begin a conversation.

Worldwide Marriage Encounter
Weekends are held in the St. Louis metro area. In addition, there is a group of married couples who meet monthly after attending a Marriage Encounter weekend to reflect on ways to keep their marriage healthy.
